Admissions Overview
Adam International University encourages prospective students to arrange an appointment with an academic advisor. Adam International University responds to all requests for information and Admissions Procedures for undergraduate and graduate programs. Most admission decisions are made on a "rolling" basis. As soon as an applicant’s file is complete, it is processed and the applicant is notified, by letter, of the decision and is assigned to an academic advisor.
Admission Procedures for Diploma Students
To complete the diploma admission process, the applicant must submit the following:
- Complete application for Diploma & Certificate Application Form [WORD] [PDF]

- Submit high school transcript or equivalency;
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
- Transfer students need overall 2.00 GPA in completed college work; and,
- Diploma application fee.
Domestic Admission Procedures for Undergraduate Students
To complete the undergraduate admission process, the applicant must submit the following:
- Application for Undergraduate Student Application Form [WORD] [PDF];
- Verification of high school completion or equivalency;
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
- Transfer students need overall 2.00 GPA in completed college work;
- Letter of recommendation; and
- Undergraduate application fee.
*ACT/SAT scores will be considered but not required.
Domestic Admission Procedures for Graduate Students
To complete the domestic graduate admission process, the applicant must submit the following:
- Proof of bachelors degree, a minimum overall 2.5 GPA
- Completed Graduate Student Application Form [WORD] [PDF];
- Interview with admissions counselor;
- Two letters of references (at least letter from a professional in the field);
- Letter of why you want to pursue a graduate degree;
- Official transcripts from all high schools attended.
- Official transcripts from all post secondary schools attended - 2-year associate degrees and bachelor degrees and any other master degree work;
- ACT/SAT/GMAT scores will be considered, but not required; and,
- If English isn’t your first language, English proficiency (550 minimum TOEFL; Band 5 minimum CELPT; 69 minimum MTELP; or other evidence demonstrating English competency) is required.
International Admission Procedures for Undergraduate Students
To complete the international undergraduate admission process, the applicant must submit the following:
- Official high school transcripts;
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended;
- 500 minimum TOFEL score or other evidence demonstrating English competency;
- Proof of financial ability to pay;
- Letter of recommendation;
- Completed Undergraduate Student Application Form [WORD] [PDF]; and,
- Copy of your passport.
International Admission Procedures for Graduate Students
To complete the international graduate admission process, the applicant must submit the following:
- Proof of bachelors degree, a minimum overall 2.5 GPA
- Complete International Graduate Student Application Form [WORD] [PDF];
- Two letters of reference and personal letter of why you want to pursue graduate degree;
- Official transcripts from all post secondary schools attended; GCE “A” level* (or equivalent) and 2-year diploma, 3-year diploma or bachelor degree;
- 3-5 years relevant work experience at mid-management level or higher;
- English proficiency (550 minimum TOFEL; Band 5 minimum CELPT; 69 minimum MTELP; or other evidence demonstrating English competency);
- ACT/SAT/GMAT scores will be considered, but not required; and,
- Copy of your passport.
- Proof of financial ability to pay.
