Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

A diagnostic medical Sonographer is a highly-skilled professional who uses specialized equipment to create images of structures inside the human body that are used by physicians to make a medical diagnosis. The program seeks to develop graduates who will achieve a passing grade on the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer’ examinations after a one year externship.

Full-time Classes

Students attending the full-time day program will attend class from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Atlanta Health Careers Institute of Adam International University’s students have the choice of taking the DMS program onsite or through our blended delivery system.
